Traditionally, Siamese cats are strong, rounded heads and truly muscular structure. They are known the world over for their unique color scheme and personality. Unlike other species, the Siamese species have a knack for socializing. If you want a cute and quiet cat, you would not want a Siamese cat. These cats are playful, noisy, and can also be the most popular breed of cats out there.


Siamese cats need a lot of attention, because in their minds, they believe that the world revolves around them. For this reason, they can rely heavily on their owners. They love to play, and they crave to meet. If you leave them alone for a long time, they will not like it. They love attention, they love to play, and they hate being left alone.


Although Siamese cats are highly emotionally nourished, they do not require much care. They need a small amount of grooming, which includes bathing regularly, and brushing once or twice a month. If you like cats with little keeping, Siamese cats are perfect. Their hair is short on their skin, so a little brushing is all you need. They can be sick, however, which is expected of any cat species.


Siamese cats have a life span similar to other species, usually 15 - 20 years, sometimes even longer. As long as you feed him daily and take him to a veterinarian for regular checkups and shots, he will be there for years to come. Many people who have had a Siamese cat for more than a decade, find that a cat is more like a baby than a pet.


No matter what you look like, a Siamese cat is a big animal. Although the Siamese species need a lot of attention, they are the best pets you can spend a lot of time with. They are also good for the kids, just because the kids can spend a lot of time with them. As long as you give your pet the attention it wants - it will be your life partner for as long as you have it.
